Dr. Khalaf “questioning Bahrain’s independence from Saudi goes beyond a question of human rights”
Dr. Abdulhadi Khalaf pointed to the extent of Saudi control in Bahrain, urging that this could be a course of action in which to involve the British government; who historically have been very committed to protecting Bahraini independence from a Saudi take-over. Khalaf argued that questioning Bahrain’s independence from Saudi goes beyond a question of human rights that touches upon a matter of “self-liberation”.
